FTC offers an alternative to equity investment where a company has, or may have in the future, an underlying tangible asset class such as, but not restricted to, a natural resource commodity. This is achieved with our Forward Trade Contract Instrument (not an off take contract).
This product is particularly relevant given current equity markets and the prospect of difficult and sometimes expensive equity fund raising being the only option, which in turn can be very dilutive for the existing stake holders along with the true value of any asset not always being reflected in illiquid markets.
Investors in equity are totally reliant on the market and the progress of the stock for any return. Our investment instruments offer a compromise with an offering often of contracted annual returns for investors via a de-risked investment.
